           Dear Glorious Father God, because You desire each one of your children to be pure, please help us to cleanse our hearts and minds of any lust or impure thoughts by looking only upon whatever is true and honorable, whatever is just and pure, and whatever is lovely and gracious and kind. 

Give us grace to change unclean thoughts and images in our minds to thoughts of You and of that which pleases You. 

Give us grace to see pornography as you see it; as a distortion and perversion of sexuality; as debasement and exploitation of human beings made in Your image. 

          Give us grace to help those who have become slaves to pornography and those who are struggling to be free from pornography.

          Give us grace to help others who have been deeply hurt or victimized by those who are enslaved by pornography or who promote pornography.

Give us grace to take effective action against distribution of pornography and the operation of “adult businesses” in our communities. 

In your mercy, raise up wise and courageous public officials who will enact and enforce laws against pornography and “adult businesses” in our communities and judges who understand the difference between freedom of speech and pornography. 

Help us to do what we have learned and received, and heard and read in Your Word, that Your peace and joy, born of complete trust in You, will be with us.

            Dear Glorious Father God, You loved us so very much that you sent us your only Son to die on a cross for our sins.

Because you desire each one of your children to be pure and patient, please help us to clear our minds of any lust or anger by looking upon only what is true and honorable, whatever is just and pure, and whatever is lovely and gracious and kind.

Give us the desire and the will to change negative pictures in our minds to positive thoughts of you.

          Give us strength dear Lord Jesus to help others in anyway that we can to understand the lust, ugliness and false power perpetrated on victims in pornography because it hurts you and all your people, especially children and families.

Keep our minds on your excellence and on continual praise of you.

          Help us to keep doing what we have learned and received, and heard and seen in you because we know only then, dear God, will your peace, born of complete trust in you, be within us.
